I wanted to make it clear that Mr. Limbaugh’s mention of Synesthesia on his program today had nothing to do with my novel. To the best of my knowledge, Mr. Limbaugh is not endorsing nor has he even read SYNESTHESIA: Book Four of the Senses Novels (yet.) Rush Limbaugh was referencing the general condition, one aspect of which is where the brain associates objects and/or other senses with colors.

While the aforementioned is a shameless exploitation of a radio celebrity’s use of a term unfamiliar to the majority of people, synesthesia is a real condition. Synesthesia takes many forms and, in the book, takes on one of its most unique aspects. Sorry, you’ll have to read the book to find out what that is.

On an entirely different topic; for those of you suffering from anxiety over the situation between the United States and North Korea, remember that as Christians, we are not to be anxious about such things. I won’t tell you what you should do if you should or should not make any kinds of preparations. I will tell you that we’ve been far closer to the edge than this. I remember that time, I remember the ‘duck and cover’ drills. Do not let the media, conservative or liberal dictate your actions. Do not listen to those who belittle our leaders or overly praise them. Follow the truth that you have been given, by the One truth giver.

Have a wonderful weekend!
