Life is everywhere. That is one of the messages that you will find in the first book of the Senses Novels, AURA. While in later books I dismiss the idea that our planet has been home to visitors from space that does not mean that life does not exist on other worlds.
In one of the most critical scenes in the book, our hero is drawing on the life-force from all over our galaxy and perhaps beyond. The difference is that Earth, our world, is the only one that holds human life, and that is special in the eyes of our Creator.
That sounds a lot like conceit. Why, after all, would we be specially chosen over all other life in the universe? I don’t have an answer for you, all I can tell you is that we are, it says so in the Word of God, and that is good enough for me.
Is there other intelligent life in the universe? I have no idea. I firmly believe that there is life. But we may be the only world that does or has ever held what we term an intelligent species. Or, there could be billions of them. No one knows, yet. Anyone claiming to know is lying to you. But life, oh yes, there is very likely a lot of life out there.
