The Senses Novels is about a fight against the ultimate threat, the greatest evil that mankind has ever faced. One of the things that I have noticed that many people have a problem with is acknowledging that evil actually exists. In many cases, they laugh it off or try to ascribe it to mental illness or some other aberration. I don’t believe that this is always the case.
Evil, real evil does exist. Many people think that Hitler was insane, it’s possible, but I believe that he was the embodiment of evil. This was a man who not only had Jewish friends in his early days but was financed by them when many of the non-Jewish art dealers would not even look at his works. He admired their ‘racial purity’ which apparently became the model for the Aryan race.
What turns a man into a monster? How does someone go from having these people as friends to deciding that their entire race must be exterminated? Evil exists.
