AURA – DETAILS, DETAILS

When you start to read AURA, one of the first things that you will notice is that you seem to be going through the whole life of our hero. While it is true that you learn about Jacob from birth all the way into his adult years, you don’t actually get to see every detail of his life. But why the seemingly incredibly long prolog until you reach the real action?

In the Senses Novels, we are not dealing with everyday people or even everyday superheroes. These unique individuals all have disabilities. In some strange way, these disabilities tie in with the powers that they have. Unless you see how these disabilities have helped to shape their lives, I’m not sure that you can understand the way that they react as they do with their abilities.

For instance, in Jacob’s case, he is physically blind in that his eyes do not function at all. Yet, he is able to ‘see’ the life-force that all living and once living things contain. Imagine though what that means when it comes to things that have no life-force. Rocks, metal, and glass are not and never were alive. To Jacob, these things are simply black and opaque. Do you see that challenge when it comes to a window of any kind?

If you are interested in learning more about Jacob and how he overcomes his disability and uses his amazing talent, you can purchase the first book in the Senses Novels series, AURA for only $0.99 at AMAZON.
