ME AGAINST YOU

If you have read TA’AM, book three of the Senses Novels series, then you may remember how people turn against one-another, especially the children. This comes straight from biblical teaching. The Bible tells us that in the end times “brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death.” (Mark 13:12.) Jesus told us that he came to create division, not peace, in Luke 12:51 through 12:53. This is played out daily now.

As the United States becomes ever more ‘secular,’ I find that those who should have the most faith and be defending freedom of religion seem to wilt. Because of the false assumption that the Constitution calls for a complete separation of religion from education, this is the type of hypocrisy that we see happening: http://www.fox4news.com/news/religious-debate-prompts-mckinney-isd-to-move-graduations

Why do I call it hypocrisy? Because ATHEISM is a religion. And suppressing one religious belief in favor of another IS against the law. Wait, KM, how can atheism be a religion? Religion is a belief in an unseen higher power. Atheists BELIEVE that there is no God. They cannot prove it, they believe that humanity, in general, created a fiction called God, they believe in something unprovable and unseen. They are hypocrites that force their religion on others, the very thing that they accuse Christians of doing.

There is no such thing as ‘the separation of Church and State’ in the U.S. Constitution, it doesn’t exist. What the First Amendment says is: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” But, in forcing the states to remove the teaching of religion from the classroom, in dictating where a graduation can be held, they are establishing ATHEISM as a state religion and prohibiting the free exercise of Christianity, Judaism, etc.

We have suffered through one of the most divisive presidencies that I have ever seen. A national leader that seemed determined to pit African-American against Caucasian. A president that would rush to judgment and be proven wrong, time-and-again. Today, our current President is being accused of this, but I haven’t seen him put on a ‘hoodie’ and claim that a thug who attacked another man could have been his child.

This has all been prophesized. None of this should be a surprise to the practicing Christian. Should we be outraged? Probably. But, we need to be asking ourselves some hard questions as well. What is our purpose as Christians? Do we or don’t we want fulfillment of the promises of the Bible? I am not saying that we shouldn’t stand up to evil, I am saying that we all need to remember and understand that everything that we are going through is meant to be.

Every Christian in every era has thought that they were in the end times. They have all pointed at the wars and the oppression. We cannot know that this is the time that is described in Revelations, regardless of what ‘expert’ or book is telling you it is. But, we can treat every day as though it is. That is how we are supposed to live.

Teach your sons and daughters the truth of the Bible. Armor them against the lies and attacks that they are going to face in a world that will only grow more hostile to them as time goes on. Pray that no matter what it is, God’s will be done. That is our job.

KM
